So slyly shy eyes
upon our meeting
I wrote this poem to help people break out of shyness. Shyness while cute, also deeply undercuts yourself with self doubt.
I just love passing a person and within the smiling eyes of the gaze: you can share a lifetime.
Isn’t this a strange culture:
Where so many cut connections: for fear of what might happen?
Personally my choice is to embrace exploring a lifetime in gaze. It makes no sense to pass upon love we receive in the connection of a gaze. We live as life unfolds even if it only lasts for an eternal second.
To you with love: Never be afraid to connect, it opens up life with possibility…
The picture is of Anaïs Nin who spoke a great deal about living truly with love and life.
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom” – Anaïs Nin
