I teach people how to find wholeness within the patterns of life around them. To flow with the patterns in a way, not to get swept away, but rather to reinforce your essence and heart.
Rumi illustrates wholeness nicely:
To accept our inner nature is connected to the whole of the universe, is to understand and then balance between being unique and being connected to everything.
Wholeness is to balance between our nature of being both unique and connected to the universe.
It then becomes a dance between the moments expressing uniqueness as “I”, the moments to embrace with what is around you and the moments you look inward to be one with everything.
How we move between these three different types of moments, is the foundation of living a graceful life, of having wholeness.
Right now, look around, witness a world tearing itself apart trying to figure out the difference in how to hold wealth and power.
True power will be in how you hold yourself in all three manners of moments:
(1) As your person
(2) As a part of one and then realize: *** many communities ***
(3) Connected to inner acceptance: in a balance of being one with the world and yet alive as yourself.
The truth is people try to do all three at once. That fails since these stances are at odds with each other and then that creates frustration and then the conflict of not doing it well.
The secret of wholeness (not a secret rather it’s a practice call: LIVING) is you dance between these three moments. Never spend too much time in one style of a moment for too long. Then in that dance, you discover a balance between doing all three in sequence relative to each other.
Once you begin dancing between these moments, you will discover, peace, a kind lifestyle, an expression of yourself that ripples out and changes the world to the power of living a life well lived…
Then it will all merge into wholeness.
This is Grace itself,
When movement between these three types of moments merges by being seamless in the transition between them.
If you ask me how to do this. Well, I will say if you look around, you will discover over thousands of years you will find many many practices that evolved to teach this.
You can start simply.
Take a moment every day, to do something for yourself, even if small like to enjoy a warm cup of tea, or to draw a doodle. But linger in it and enjoy it.
Then take a moment every day, to do something kind, if even small, like giving another person a smile, or animal a bit of attention. But linger in it and connect truly.
Then take a moment every day. To witness something, just witness it and realize in witnessing it… you are part of it and share.
Then over time, dance between these moments, expand them out, grow them with practice, and it will become a whole lifestyle which expands into a complete life that you could never stop being because it is YOU.
In this find your own wholeness and -> you will be both unique and one with the universe both.
