Once you learn your first impossible trick.
All else becomes possible.
However, Lewis Carol sums it up nicely:
“I can’t believe that!” said Alice.
“Can’t you?” the queen said in a pitying tone. “Try again, draw a long breath, and shut your eyes.”
Alice laughed. “There’s no use trying,” she said. “One can’t believe impossible things.”
“I dare say you haven’t had much practice,” said the queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
Back to basics. Everything you need is present.
open to potential
work your form into the possibility
of what you accept yourself to be.
Going Past Personal Limitations.
So impossible is a limitation imposed upon oneself. As soon as anyone places a limitation on themselves, they have made their path harder, have reduced the potential solutions right at the start of trying to find the best answers.
It may take years to re-wire your patterns, to find answers, but if you work long enough, you can change even the aspects of oneself you would think are fixed. Humans are far more malleable and have more potential for going around the limits judged to be baseline facts.
Some people have been given greater challenges in life. If you are one, take it as a challenge and work against it until you become what you dream of to show everyone what is possible.
If you make your challenge into a limitation up front, then you have prevented yourself at the start from finding your greatness. Everyone has the potential to be great; just some have the harder path that can take a person to even greater heights in return if you persist.
Taoism and the Impossible
I look forward to each day since I know I enable the possibility for anything to happen.
Granted, most often: nothing happens.
But also many times often the smallest things I set in motion years before will blossom unexpectedly and wonderfully.
To take me somewhere new.
Living a Taoist lifestyle is a simple matter of being open to life’s possibilities rather than being attached to an anchor of impossibility.
