Ringworm (Dermatophytosis) is a fungal infection of the skin – body, scalp, groin (jock itch) or feet (athlete’s foot).
Larrea tridenta salve is excellent for helping heal fungal infections externally on the skin. It is particularly good for athlete’s foot, ringworm and haole rot or the little red fungal bumps under your child’s armpits. Using Larrea tridentata and the Echinacea Goldenseal tincture together on a more persistent fungus such as Ringworm should see a noticeable decrease within 2 weeks (14 days). Usually, after the first week there won’t be any red protrusions remaining.

As a general practice, brushing the skin with a dry brush or scrubbing the skin daily in the shower is advised in places where fungus is persistent (tropical climates) since the fungi are feeding on the external layer of the skin. Brushing the skin brings the blood flow to the external layer of the skin and helps keep the skin healthy and fungus free!
An initial photo taken April 16, 2010 of ringworm making its home on an arm. You can see multiple red protrusions.

Using suggestions above, the ringworm is noticeably lessened in this photo on April 30, 2010. The skin is drier and there are no red protrusions.
